Good Sunday afternoon.

The White Pine Sheriff’s office and other first responders conducted a mock training exercise Sunday afternoon on the west side of Ely.  Rather than notify the news media, they assumed that a simple Facebook post would be sufficient notification.  Unfortunately, not everyone reads Facebook, and Facebook has a tendency to throddle governmental agencies reach.  Because of that, my phones have been blowing up at the radio station wanting to know why we weren’t talking about it.  As soon as we were able to find out information, we did.  An important reminder to you and those who wish we would go away.  Radio doesn’t filter the news you need to know like Social Media.  We tell the truth that some politicians - like County Commissioners - don’t want you to know.  Listen here, we bring you the latest news every hour, and bulletins at once.  We live the slogan - accurate news and reasonable views.  So keep tuned in.
