Azalia Holmes, known as SlaybyZay, is a professional cosmetologist and braider from Chickasha, Oklahoma. A proud graduate of Paul Mitchell (Class of 2018), she has built a reputation as one of the most trusted braiders in Oklahoma City, working with elite clients including NBA Champions Jalen "JDub" Williams and Jaylin "JWill" Williams of the OKC Thunder.
With a lifelong passion for hair, Azalia started braiding at a young age and turned her gift into a career. At 45, she is a proud mother of five (four sons and one daughter) and the middle child of a Black mother and White father-an upbringing that shaped her resilience, creativity, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
Her story is one of passion, perseverance, and purpose: transforming a childhood interest into a career that now touches both the beauty industry and professional sports.
