Chris Crook is a former collegiate athlete, mentor, and the founder of the Chris Crook Foundation, an organization devoted to helping middle school students grow both on and off the basketball court. With a heart for youth and a vision rooted in purpose, Chris is passionate about guiding the next generation through mentorship, athletic training, and character development.
A proud graduate of Millwood High School in Oklahoma City, Chris made his mark on the court as both a point guard and shooting guard. He went on to play at McPherson College, continuing to sharpen his skills and leadership both as an athlete and a teammate. Following college, he trained with the Oklahoma City Blue, the NBA G League affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder, gaining valuable experience and insight into the discipline and mindset needed to succeed at the professional level.
Chris’s dedication to his work and community is unmatched. He is widely known not only for his basketball background but also for his genuine spirit and unwavering commitment to uplifting others. His upbringing played a major role in shaping his path, instilling in him the values of perseverance, faith, and service. Those same values now guide his foundation’s mission: to empower youth to reach their full potential in sports, school, and life.
In addition to mentoring youth, Chris gives back through annual food and clothing drives that support both kids and individuals experiencing homelessness, making sure his impact reaches far beyond the court.
Whether he’s training, mentoring, or serving the community, Chris leads with integrity, compassion, and a drive to make a lasting difference.
