"For a layman, running a 100 metres is as simple as running from point A to point B. For us, it's a lot more than that. It's about a million things done in moderation between those two points...even cutting microseconds becomes such a challenging part, it takes years to master that," shares Siya Sawant, an award-winning National level track & field athlete who konnects with me on this episode of #KarishmaKonnect. A 19 year old hailing from Mumbai, Siya ranks among the most promising Track & Field athletes in the country, currently at No.1 position for 100 mts and No. 2 for 200 mts as per the Khelo India rankings. She holds three national records to her name and has been the Junior National Champion for five years in a row. Siya's conversation told me exactly how the sky is no limit and age is definitely no bar when you've got commitment to your merit and clarity in your vision. This one's an audio only podcast but if you're someone who loves podcasts, you'll notice her passion every time she runs into the wonders of her sport. That is inspiring. Go watch now.
