Should my cat have rights?

What subjects did Kant explore in his works? What questions did he seek to answer? In our eighth and final episode of Kant Talk 2.0, we talk about Kant’s position on animals, whether we have any moral duties towards them. What did Kant think about what animals are? Do we have any obligations towards our cats, according to Kant?

We have invited Dr. Laura Papish, who is a Kant expert and an Associate Professor of Philosophy at The George Washington University in the United States, to help us answer these questions.

Join us for our final Kant Talk 2.0 podcast episode, as we examine Kant’s moral approach to animals and their welfare.
