The study of Kabbalah has undergone significant transformation, evolving from a secretive tradition passed down orally among a select few to a more accessible and technologically advanced practice available to the masses. Kabbalah study has adapted to the modern era, emphasizing personal transformation, accessible resources, and the collaborative power of collective spiritual endeavors.
According to Kabbalah, souls continue to reincarnate until they achieve spiritual rectification, with each lifetime building upon the progress of previous ones. This process is exclusive to human souls and is influenced by an individual's spiritual development and closeness to the Creator. Memories of past lives are not consciously accessible, but their effects can be felt in the present, shaping the journey of the soul.
In this intriguing podcast episode, we explore the unconventional view of reincarnation as seen through the lens of Kabbalah. While many envision reincarnation as a cycle of living and dying in various identities, Kabbalah offers a different perspective—one that hinges on spiritual growth.
Join us as we unravel the wisdom of Kabbalah and discover how every step in your spiritual journey can be a form of reincarnation. We'll delve into the notion that intense self-correction can lead to experiencing multiple lifetimes in just minutes, offering a profound way to understand personal transformation.
On the flip side, we'll explore the consequences of not addressing one's spiritual growth. According to Kabbalah, this path may lead to a life without experiencing a single incarnation.
Tune in as we dive deep into Kabbalistic teachings, shedding light on a unique interpretation of reincarnation that challenges conventional beliefs. Discover how this ancient wisdom can reshape your understanding of personal evolution and the timeless journey of the soul.
The Hebrew language, and the way it is written, is a direct result of communication with the Upper Worlds. The combination of letters and the ink strokes that make them up contain spiritual knowledge. In this episode, we will discuss the way numbers, words, and letters represent our own correction.
Everything the Zohar says, even its legends, the 10 Sefirot—Keter, Hochma, Bina, Hesed, Gevura, Tifferet, Netzah, Hod, Yesod, and Malchut—and their associations. To a Kabbalist, the participations and their various combinations are sufficient to reveal all the spiritual worlds.
The language of Kabbalah describes how forces from the Higher World act on the things of this world. Stories and the ideas behind them show how the universe is organized. When read in this way, stories about this world—for example, stories in the Bible—take on a new meaning.
In this episode, we will begin to understand how to open the knowledge of Kabbalah. We will see that the roots and branches of the Kabbalah language reveal more to the stories than meets the eye.
In Kabbalah, Adam and Eve are two parts of the same Partzuf. When the Kabbalists want to emphasize the reception of this Partzuf they refer to it as Eve, and when they want to focus on its giving abilities, they call it Adam. And to understand the Thought of Creation, it was necessary to create a special Partzuf, which would exist in a special world, where this Partzuf could study the Thought of Creation of its own free choice. This is how the Partzuf of Adam ha Rishon was formed. Although Adam ha Rishon was not born in our physical world, it was quickly brought here and was given the name Adam, after its task, to be Domeh (similar) to the Upper One, the Creator.
This episode is the heart of the subject of this Podcast, the core of Kabbalah. Here, we focus more on the individual in the process and less on degrees, worlds, and Partzufim. When you learn it, you will grasp the essence of the Kabbalistic journey toward spirituality, and how Kabbalah provides a way for humanity to correct itself for the good of all.
At the bottom rung on the spiritual ladder, where you and I will start, we are disconnected from the Creator. This episode will explain the task, which is to refurbish our desire for spirituality and make it a working vehicle to drive us up the spiritual ladder once more.
In this episode, we explore the concept of spiritual growth and the stages that souls experience. Baal HaSulam, in his "Introduction to The Book of Zohar," describes three states that souls go through. The first stage is the beginning of creation, where everything that will later evolve in the soul is contained, similar to a seed containing a plant. The second stage is the birth of the soul and its stages of growth. The third state is when the soul realizes its potential and reaches the level of the Creator, bonding with Him. In this third state, the soul returns to the first state, but this time it is a conscious and mature act.
An analogy is made to a baby's growth, wherein in the first stage, the baby is at the mother's height as she holds it next to her chest. In the second stage, the child stands and grows from below. And in the third stage, the child becomes fully grown, reaching the mother's level as a conscious and mature adult.
The cycle of spiritual reality is compared to a ladder, with the Spiritual Light at the top, representing the starting point or the zero point. This starting point is referred to as Phase Zero, and it marks the beginning of the circle. The ladder has five stages and four steps because the cycle starts at the root or zero. A barrier at the end of Phase 4 stops the Spiritual Light, except for a fraction of Light that evolves into our universe.
The five levels of desire in our world correspond to the five cycles in the spiritual reality of the Upper Worlds. Throughout this chapter, the number 5 reappears in different ways, describing various aspects of the Kabbalistic journey to spiritual attainment.
In this particular episode, we will discuss the work of the most "general" of all Kabbalists: Rav Yehuda Ashlag (Baal Hasulam). Rav Ashlag clearly stated that the study of Kabbalah is open to all, the Kabbalah can be revealed, distributed, and taught to all, without any regard to age, race, gender, or religion. Also, this episode introduces the way Kabbalistic texts work and how they have been developed over the centuries to make their wisdom more available and accessible to all.
Aspiration, or wish and other words that mean desires, its main role in the evolution of creation in general and in the recent revelation of the Wisdom of Kabbalah, in particular, can be learned from the history of the Wisdom of Kabbalah. This episode will devote the following parts of this lesson to that topic.
This episode explores the progression of human desires, from basic needs to the highest level: the need for spirituality. You can begin a serious study of Kabbalah only after you have obtained that need; it is the way to understanding the role of the Creator and our own role in the world.
This episode will expand on the concepts presented in Episode 4, to show how Kabbalists understand the Creator and what the Creator wants for us.
This episode also explores more fully the nature of reality and what we see and don't see about reality. We will also learn more about the power of free choice and how to focus our minds on what will help us change our lives for the better.
This episode briefly presents the basic concepts and principles of Kabbalah. The terms we present and discuss in this episode set up the language of Kabbalah that we use throughout the topic. This episode also presents how and why your study of Kabbalah is not only good for you but also for the benefit of society as a whole.
For many centuries, Kabbalah has been a “banned” topic. Examine this (partial) list of prerequisites you previously had to answer “yes” in order to become a student: Jewish, male, married, over 40 years old, and proficient in other Jewish studies. So how come Kabbalah is being openly taught and studied everywhere? Because the ban has been lifted. As Kabbalists Rav Yehuda Ashlag, the Vilna Gaon (GRA), and many other prominent Kabbalists have stated, the end of the 20th century marks a fundamental change in the history of Kabbalah. Now it is open to all. As we will show in this episode, the bans were there for a reason. But it is for exactly the same reason that they have now been lifted. We, humanity in the twenty-first century, have become ready to see Kabbalah for what it really is—a scientific, time-tested, empirical method of achieving spirituality while living here in this world. Studying Kabbalah is a fascinating journey. It changes your perspective on the world and the people around you, and opens parts in you that you never knew existed. It is a journey of discoveries happening within, affecting all of life’s levels: our relationships with our kin, friends, and co-workers. Kabbalah states very simply that when you know how to connect to the Creator directly, without any go-betweens, you will find your inner compass. And this is the goal of Kabbalah—to help you make, and sustain, direct contact with the Creator. And when you do, you will need no further guidance. So welcome to The Guide to Hidden Wisdom of Kabbalah.
Throughout the poem, The Ari emphasizes the importance of spiritual connection and unity, emphasizing that all things are ultimately connected to each other and to the Upper Reality. He speaks of how the branches of the tree of life reach out to touch the Upper World, and how the leaves rustle softly in the wind, whispering secrets of the divine to all who listen.
Ultimately, "The Tree of Life" is a beautiful and inspiring poem that offers a glimpse into the concealed depths of the human soul. Its message is one of hope and unity, reminding us that we are all part of something greater than ourselves and that by embracing our spiritual connection to the world around us, we can find our way to spiritual attainment, and fulfillment.
A Poem that Gives an Idea about the Upper World: Dr. Michael Laitman
I think that this poem, in general, gives some idea about the upper world, it attracts people. I would recommend introducing it into the Kabbalah teaching program.
Without us feeling some of its fragments, we cannot advance. This gaping emptiness sometimes is revealed in us, and due to the feeling of spiritual hunger, we are already rushing toward the goal.
Believe me, it is necessary. Otherwise, we will not budge! After all, we are egoists. In order not to remain in the vacuum, namely to fill ourselves, we need to feel that we are in the vacuum.
