Almost 45%, Yes you saw that right. That is the percentage of the Native Speakers of Kannada in the Capital City of Karnataka. Bengaluru a Cosmopolitan City along the likes of Delhi and Mumbai, YES, but adaptation to Hindi has never been a problem in the other cities, but Kannada being washed away in our Capital city without it being respected or supported by Non-Native speakers is a serious issue of concern. Kannadigas from other districts have no opportunities in their own state's capital due to the Metropolitan boom and have to don the roles of Swiggy and Zomato delivery guys.
