In this episode, Gunes Unuvar first gives a brief description of International Investment Law. Then, we discuss the current challenges and developments of the reforms being made in this field, especially in its dispute settlement dimension. After having elaborated the fundamental differences between ISDS (investor-state dispute settlement system) and ICS (international court system proposed by CETA), we further assess the proposed regime from the EU perspective, considering the autonomy of the EU legal order.
