On this week’s episode Katie and Noelani do a solo episode to talk about their recent experiences with grief, how they have navigated it thus far and what has helped them along the way. This episode is as personal as it gets and their hope is to let other’s walking the road of grief know they are not alone. There is no right or wrong to grieve and it is ok to not be ok. Please reach out to a therapist or grief counsellor if you are struggling with navigating your grief. Things you can do to help a love one who is grieving: -Bring Meals -Acknowledging their pain -Taking their kids for the day -Empathy Things you can do to navigate grief: -Journaling -Spending time outside -Talking to a friend/partner -Talking to a counsellor -Finding time to be alone -Focus on getting through 10 minutes at a time -Basic self care-eating, drinking water, moving your body, getting dressed, etc. Resources: It’s Ok To Not Be Ok by Megan Devine
