First, The plaintiff married the defendant’s father when the defendant was 13 years old. The plaintiff loaned the defendant and her boyfriend money to pay rent. She says the defendant hasn’t paid her back, so she’s suing for an unpaid loan. The defendant says the plaintiff helped change her father for the better because he used to be abusive. The defendant thinks the plaintiff is suing her prematurely.
Then, The plaintiff dated the defendant for three years, but she claims the defendant cheated on her. She and the defendant got a house together, but he stopped paying rent and never came home. She’s suing for breach of contract. The defendant argues he never cheated on her and he denies owing her.
Plus, The plaintiff and defendant used to be friends but eventually lost touch. They reconnected because they were both in jail at the same time. She says she agreed to board the defendant’s horse at her home, but she didn’t pay, so she’s suing. The defendant argues she brought all the supplies for the horse. She’s countersuing for unpaid wages.
