The apostle Paul's letters to the Thessalonians assumes a "gospel-centered" orientation, on the basis of what God has already done in Christ and what He will yet do in Christ. Whether it’s on work, grief, sexual purity or hope, Paul talked of each of these things in the light of the gospel.
As we read & meditate on these today from the perspective of our identity as Christians and as members of our local church, may it also remind us how the gospel should also shape all of our lives-- ours, our families', and our church's, as we share it and embody it in faith, love, and resurrection hope.
