Abi Fernandini- Welcome to the Journal the Body Podcast, where I encourage you to tune into your body and out what the mainstream has to say about total health and well-being.

If you start listening to this podcast, you might experience the feeling of "unlearning" much of what you have been taught, and that can be a liberating yet scary feeling.

Many of my philosophies and practices reside in Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I believe these "alternative" practices are actually the original practices for mind-body health way before the western healthcare model redefined this standard.

This concept of "Journaling the Body" started back in 2019 when I move out to California while battling a chronic illness. I shut out all the opinions of my doctors at the time, stopped the medications I was given, and made a pact to truly listen to what my body was telling me. I truly journaled my body, both physical and emotional.

So today I present you with the final product of an idea brewing for 3 years. I hope you come along with me to unlearn ;)
