Mike Yau was part of the UK's sim racing vanguard, Managing Director of the UK's premier motorsport simulator venue, Simply Race, which he founded long before it was a commonly understood leisure activity. In this episode, we find out about his journey, starting his motorsport journey in the catering division of a go-karting venue, quickly rising to become one of the youngest general managers of Daytona Motorsport, before taking a leap of faith. This is a story of hard work, an insatiable desire to learn and an agile business brain, which has also led Mike to become the UK CEO of AK Esports, and work alongside motorsport champions such as ('friend of the show'TM) Mario Andretti, Jenson Button and Colin Turkington.
