Lucha Star Konnan makes his debut! Terry Funk shoots on Honky Tonk Man
Welcome to Episode 22 of Pro Wrestling Spotlight REWIND. Today's episode features an original uncut episode of the historic talk show, hosted by John Arezzi.
On this episode we share the March 6th, 1993 broadcast of Pro Wrestling Spotlight, which aired on 1050 AM WEVD in New York City, NY.
Mexican Sensation KONNAN makes his Pro Wrestling Spotlight debut - appearing in studio. This was the first time I met him, and we were in the middle of discussing bringing AAA Lucha Libre to the United States. Also - Terry Funk joins for the entire show and meets Konnan for the first time as well. Honky Tonk Man calls in and causes a disruption - only to get Funk riled up and a shoot barrage from the Funker ensues!
Callers weigh in, and more!
