This week, we’re talking about Blueming, Korean BL that hit way closer to home than we expected. Between the slow-burn tension, messy emotions, and all the unspoken insecurities, this story felt real. We saw so much of ourselves in Siwon and Jihoon, which is exactly why we knew we had to cover it.

We get into Siwon’s obsession with being liked, the pressure to present yourself a certain way, and how easy it is to get caught up in comparison. Then there’s Jihoon, calm, composed, and talented, but also guarded, distant, and wrestling with his own fears about being vulnerable. Watching the two of them navigate identity, self-worth, and connection felt like peeling back layers we don’t always talk about.

It’s romantic, it’s heavy, it’s quiet and chaotic all at once, and we had a lot to say.
