Hosts Ross and Calum train at SBG Aberdeen in Scotland. Ross is a black belt and the main coach at the club. Calum is a brown belt competitor, who won silver as a purple belt at the 2023 IBJJF no gi Europeans.

CJI 2: No £1 million for New Wave - is that fair?

New Wave are no longer getting $1 million for their performance at CJI 2. Is that fair?

B-Team won the grappling super event, giving them the title and big cash prize.

Due to the contentious nature of the victory, the anonymous Craig Jones Invitational 2 donor decided John Danaher's team would be paid the top prize money as well.

Now that decision has been reversed, meaning champions B-Team are the only squad to walk away with $1 million.
