Jigs & Reels Radio KW - May 12-2025

This live to air broadcast was one of the hardest I had to do, yet somehow the most meaningful. NL lost one of its own with the untimely passing of legend Mark Hiscock. The first hour paid homage to this outstanding squeezebox player—one of the best the island has ever seen. I was able to talk to Paul Hamilton and Lindy Hickey of Hamilton Sound and Dave Fitzpatrick of The Fables. They shared their personal experiences with Mark and of course with his founding of the iconic band Shanneygannock. You'll hear some from Mark as well as Shanney and others to pay tribute to the one who is playing for those who passed before him.

Also on the show, we cannot forget the New Music Monday with debuts from Corey Poole, Kim Hamlyn, Logan Bolt, Evan Watts Smith and the sneak peek at Silver Wolf Band's newest single. All this and more on this podcast taken from the live show May 12, 2025.
