Don't Trust in your Efforts, Rather Trust Jesus
The story of the impotent man by the pool of Bethesda in John 5:1-9 is interesting. This man most likely became sick because of his sin, (for Jesus later told him to sin no more so that he will not experience something worse), yet Jesus DID NOT JUDGE OR ACCUSE HIM. Rather what Jesus did was that he saved him. Why? Because God sent not to his Son (Jesus) into the world to JUDGE/CONDEMN the world. (John 3:17) This man has tried many times to be the first to enter the pool of Bethesda by his efforts but it was to no avail. Then Jesus came, spoke his word to him and saved him. This man experienced salvation through Jesus. Listen to this podcast and learn more about this truth. What a good God we serve
