Join Jacki and Marissa as they celebrate another favorite Ghouls streaming service: Shudder. This all horror channel has been a JG staple for years, and it brings together the best older horror classics as well as the best in indie and Shudder produced horror.
Specifically, they ghouls tackle the 2023 Shudder Original The Sacrifice Game. A surprisingly fun play on home invastion and demon possession films. They also talk Mandy, a 2018 Shudder darling. Marissa gushes over the trippy artistry of the film while Jacki celebrates both the softer side of Nic Cage as well as his unhinged crazy side. And while Jacki criticizes the influencer, capitalism driven cults of consumption that define modern America Marissa sadly misses the point and ironically begs those very same companies for sponsorship (But seriously... Shudder, Owala, Uggs, call us).
