Mel Murray

Mel Murray graduated as a presidential scholar from John Brown University ('01) with a degree in Intercultural Studies, after which she launched into a career in marketing. Following her passions and calling, Mel and her husband moved their young family of four to Northern India in 2010 and launched multiple ventures, including a vertically integrated ethical fashion brand, a high-end boutique guitar brand, and a nonprofit venture studio that partners with under-resourced entrepreneurs in challenging regions to launch sustainable, scalable businesses. Mel is Partner for Praxis Global Community, serving a diverse group of ecosystem builders and leaders, activating redemptive entrepreneurship in communities all throughout the world. She serves on the board of JoyCorps and HOPE International.
