S1:E14 Being a Queer Black Activist in a Straight White World with Brandon Hanks
This week, I was finally able to chat with my dear friend and inspiration Brandon Hanks. As the Artistic Director of a local theatre organization, Brandon has used his platform to amplify the voices of artists regardless of their race, gender, or sexual orientation. We got deep into the stereotypes of being a black actor and the heavy task of calling out non-poc organizations for their insensitivity. Featuring tunes by Luther Vandross, Lady Gaga, and BLACKPINK.
