ここのところ、日本で大雨が続いています。

昨日は静岡で洪水が起きました。

There has been a lot of heavy rain in Japan recently.

Yesterday, there was flooding in Shizuoka.

静岡の熱海という地域で、川が氾濫して多くの人が流されてしまいました。

今もまだ雨は続いていて、多くの人が捜査中です。

In an area of Shizuoka called Atami, a river overflowed and swept away many people.

The rain is still continuing and many people are still under investigation.

静岡は富士山があったり、箱根や伊豆等多くの観光地が有ります。

僕もおじいちゃんの家が箱根にあったので、静岡には沢山の思い出があります。

In Shizuoka, there are many sightseeing spots such as Mount Fuji, Hakone and Izu.

Fuji, Hakone, Izu, etc. My grandfather's house was in Hakone, so I have a lot of memories of Shizuoka.

静岡だけでなく、ここ数年は各地で大雨が降っています。

昨年は九州で、その前は岡山や広島など、毎年どこかで水害が起きています。

Not only Shizuoka, but many other places have experienced heavy rainfall in the past few years.

Last year it was in Kyushu, and before that in Okayama and Hiroshima, etc. Every year there is flooding somewhere.

水害だけではなく、台風や地球温暖化の影響もどんどん大きくなっているように思います。

みんなで環境を大切にして、少しずつよくなっていくといいなと思いました。

Not only floods, but also typhoons and global warming seem to be having a bigger and bigger impact.

I hope that we can all take care of our environment and make it better little by little.
