Arvind Khanna (born 29 May 1967) is an Indian politician, businessman and philanthropist. Arvind is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Arvind served as the member of legislative assembly from Sangrur (2002-2007) and from Dhuri (2012-2015), and he has also served as the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary. Arvind's business interests lie in the arms industry and the defence sector. Arvind's NGO Umeed, is one of the largest NGOs in Punjab.
