The Tale of Hyoroku and the Painting of Love This story follows Hyoroku, who is so deeply in love with his wife that he cannot focus on his farming work. To help, his wife gives him her painting so he can gaze upon it while working. The painting is eventually blown away to a castle, where the lord falls in love with the image and seeks out the woman, taking her as his bride. Despite the lord's care, she does not smile for three years until she hears Hyoroku selling peaches outside the castle. In an effort to see her smile, the lord swaps clothes with Hyoroku. A misunderstanding leads the guards to chase the lord away, thinking he is the peach seller, allowing Hyoroku and his wife to reunite and live happily in the castle.
