E13: Why Do We Vote on a Tuesday? Election Day History w/ Charles Stewart III - MIT Distinguished Professor of Political Science
Welcome back to The #iVoted Festival 2022 Podcast! Today we're digging in on why we vote on a Tuesday, the history of Election Day and lessons we can learn from data on other countries to increase voter turnout. To do so, host Emily White asks just that and much more while chatting with Charles Stewart III, a Kenan Sahin Distinguished Professor of Political Science at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology who is also serves as Director of the MIT Election Data and Science Lab as well as Co-Director for the Caltech/MIT Voting Technology Project.

We found this interview to be SO fascinating that we turned it into its own episode. Tune in next week to hear from #iVoted Festival 2022 artists trending in the Northeast. Happy listening in the meantime!

Special thanks to iZotope for donating RX 9 Advanced and Insight 2 to this podcast!
