Prayer for Letting Go

Heavenly Father,

Today, I come to You with a heavy but willing heart. You see every tear, every hope, and every disappointment I have carried. Lord, I surrender this relationship to You — the one that has not honored who I am in You.

I declare that I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and I choose to believe that my value is not determined by another person’s ability to see it.

Help me to let go without bitterness, regret, or fear.

Heal the parts of me that longed to be chosen and loved the right way.

Fill every empty space with Your perfect love, for Your Word says, “Your steadfast love is better than life” (Psalm 63:3).

Father, I trust You to protect my heart and guide my steps.

I release what hurts to embrace what heals.

I release rejection to embrace Your acceptance.

I release confusion to walk in Your peace.

Thank You that You have plans to give me a future filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Teach me to love myself the way You love me.

Teach me to wait for what You have ordained and not settle for what was never Your best.

I am Yours, Lord. Heal me, hold me, and lead me.
