Monica and Amanda hit the road and visit Melissa Symons.

Melissa talks openly about her childhood.  She describes how her mother embraced a fundamentalist Christian organization after her husband left her.   The organization was a cult that spoke in tounges, gave birth to "Spiritual Babies" and cast out demons.

Because Melissa was so vulnerable, she was easy prey.  At 14, she became an easy target for sexual abuse, this is when she began a relationship with a 32-year-old man from the Church.

Instead of the church gathering around Melissa, they blamed her for temping a good Christian man.  Melissa describes her experience of having demons cast out of her.   She was locked in a basement for days as Christians prayed for her.

This set Melissa off on a long journey of learning that both men and religion could not be trusted. Monica and Melissa both learned that love doesn't come for free.

Melissa through years of counseling has come through the other side and freely shares her story.
