It's way past her bedtime, but the show must go on. Tanya takes you backstage to talk to some of the driving forces behind techno and EDM whose work has been keeping her up way past her bedtime. While the parties rage on, we want to know the stories behind the music. What are these artists thinking about? What's their place in this scene? Surely this scene means more to music than drugs, bros, and berghain.

Christina Sealey and Richard Oddie of Orphx come on the show to explain why they've been keeping me up with their music for almost two decades. Making music since the 90s and actively performing since, Orphx has made an indelible mark in the history of electronic music. Berlin has been knocking at their door from their beginnings and hasn't stopped, leading to regular performances at every club that means something to you. They're not really techno though. Or are they? Who really cares? Industrial meets rhythmic noise meets modular synths with this duo and I can't get enough. They do it again with their pandemic-born EP, The Way Through All Things. Orphx talks about their experiments with infrasounds, being present, their conceptual inspirations, and how they haven't killed each other after 30 years of collaborating before they played to an eager Toronto crowd. It's Past My Bedtime, Orphx!

If you hear me say 20 kHZ and not 20 HZ, you're wrong.
