Alan Muraoka is an Emmy Award winning actor/director/producer. For the past 25 years he has played Alan the proprietor of Hooper’s Store, on Sesame Street. As a director and producer on Sesame, he has been nominated for 4 Daytime Emmys, an NAACP Image Award, and won a GLAAD Media Award. With Sesame he has performed at the White House, the Pentagon, the Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall, as well as the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
