Despite endometriosis affecting 1 in 10 women, awareness surrounding it is still very poor. The condition causes cells similar to the lining of the womb to grow elsewhere in the body, with varying symptoms like debilitating pain, fatigue, low mood, heavy periods and pain when you go to the toilet amongst others.

This debilitating condition can have severe impacts on the retention of staff and wellbeing.
