How to Ground Someone Having a Panic Attack

How to Help Yourself Having a Panic Attack

When you feel a panic attack coming on, there are several things you can do to help yourself feel better. For example, breathing exercises can really help to regulate your breathing and prevent a full-blown panic attack from happening. You can also try distracting yourself by focusing on something else or listening to music.

Assisted breathing exercises can be a good way to relieve some of the tension in your body, as they help you fill your lungs with air, pull in diaphragm and expand your lungs. These regular exercises can help people relieve some of the symptoms of panic attacks.

Here are some instructions you can follow to assist you in practicing assisted breathing exercises:

Get in Touch with Anxiety Expert Bambi Thompson

…"People always ask me how to describe what I do, and I say,

"When you figure that out, let me know."

I call myself a "Brain Coach" for anxiety transformation and success acceleration. I teach success -oriented women (and some men) how to leverage brain science, mindset, the human energy body, and the Law of Attraction to dismantle limitation and unleash power, confidence, and momentum.

I'm a Renaissance Woman, a success coach - a jack of many trades. A lot of hats have I worn in my day which makes my work unique and unlike anyone else's.  I walk to the beat of my own drum with abandon and have always been a maverick. I'm not afraid to stand out and go against the tide. I homeschooled my girls for 12 years, and have had numerous businesses in my lifetime.

I'm a science nerd and a woo-woo geek.  I'm one bad-ass "Blaster of Blocks", a deeply spiritual healer, an intuitive channel for divine music, and most importantly, a fun hog."
