Coming from a background in art and performance, with over 12 years of ballet study, Erica Menei is a DJ who loves to mix sounds and experiment behind the booth. Born and based in Rome, she began her journey in 2011 by collaborating with Wonder Wet Records, a label and booking agency run by industry professionals Sergio Picciaredda and Attilio Tucci. This experience inspired her to further her skills as a professional producer by studying the basics of electronic music composition. As the Co-Owner and A&R of Talkischeap Records, founded in 2013, Erica released her first EP, "The Ghosts Are Gone," in the same year. From 2015 to 2019, she was a resident DJ with the She Made family, an all-female project originating in the historic Rashomon Club, a cornerstone of Roman clubbing. Erica also held a residency at Goa Club during the 2017/18 season and has played at renowned venues like Fabric in London and Golden Gate in Berlin.
