‌‌Niels Bjerre-Poulsen is an Associate Professor at the Center for American Studies, University of Southern Denmark (2010-). His research primarily focuses on American political culture, U.S. foreign relations, and the American presidency. He holds a PhD in American History from the University of California, Santa Barbara, an MA in History from the University of Copenhagen, and a BA in American Studies from the University of Copenhagen. Before joining the faculty at the University of Southern Denmark, Niels Bjerre-Poulsen was an Associate Professor at the Copenhagen Business School, where he also served as the Director of the Center for the Study of the Americas.
