Seit 2011 analysiert Berylls Strategy Advisors die Entwicklung der 100 größten Automobilzulieferer weltweit. Diese Welt ist im Wandel, das ist nicht neu. Allerdings haben die Herausforderungen im laufenden Jahrzehnt seit Corona zugenommen, mit dramatischen Auswirkungen.
"Das Geschäftsmodell Automotive droht auf der Strecke zu bleiben", resümiert Dr. Alexander Timmer, Partner bei Berylls die Lage. Nachzulesen in der jährlichen Zuliefererstudie, "Ein Must Have Read in der Branche, weltweit!" Nach dem Motto, den Letzten beißen die Hunde, sind die Zulieferer gefangen in der Margenfalle. Doch die Lage bessert sich aktuell. "Wir schauen uns gerade aktuell die Zahlen aus 2024 an: Die Profitabilität der Zulieferer ist gestiegen. Gleiches gilt auch für den Umsatz." Den Unternehmen gelingt es, die eigenen Kosten zu senken und den Schwerpunkt auf Non-Automotive-Bereiche zu verlagern. "Luftfahrt ist ein beliebtes Beispiel, ebenso der Energiesektor!" Das nächste "must have read" ist am 21.06.2024, denn dann wird die aktuelle Zuliefererstudie vorgestellt.
