Insecurities about Language is about my journey with learning a new language and tackling the death of language within families. I will have many conversations with those on the same journey, from teachers, from those teaching their kids, and really anyone who wants to have a conversation about language! And tackling Insecurities. This podcast is for people who are learning a new language, who want to learn a language, and people who grew up speaking a language but forgot it. If you fall into one of these categories or somewhere in between, then this podcast is for you!

Insecurities about Language: The Death of Language within Jacqueline's Family

Welcome Language Learners to the Insecurities about Language podcast: The Death of Language and to an exciting topic I am tackling called the Death of Language...within families! In this episode, I had the pleasure of interviewing Jacqueline S. Sadberry, a small-town girl hailing from Texas. She is a poet, self-published author, and passionate language lover. Between studying Japanese, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, and writing her second novel, she also assists people with becoming conversational in Spanish, Japanese and English. You can find her on YouTube and Instagram under JSS Media: Langs.

***corrections from Jacqueline: My oldest aunt was the last one who could speak it and she passed last year. (My other aunt was the second or third oldest girl, but she learned through a member at church. That's the one who passed 4-5 years ago.)
