In this episode, the hosts of Inquisitio are joined by H.C. Verma, experimental nuclear physicist and professor emeritus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Prof. H.C. Verma is a leading figure in outreach, especially in physics. He has created several hundred low-cost physicist experiments and has made several efforts on releasing courses online for students as well. In 2011, he set up the National Anveshika Network of India (NANI), a flagship programme of the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT), of which he is the national co-ordinator. For his contributions to outreach in India, he has been awarded the Padma Shree, one of the highest civilian honours, in 2020.
