**From Nottingham to Freelance Success: Abs' Inspiring Journey**
Today, we are thrilled to have Abs, a truly remarkable guest, share her incredible story.
Growing in Nottingham, Abs was raised in a working-class family, her upbringing shaped by resilience and determination.
Abs discovered her passion for media during her college years. However, her journey into the industry was anything but smooth. Early morning commutes from Nottingham to London for work experience, coupled with the financial struggles of living in Brixton, marked the beginning of her career.
Despite these challenges, Abs persevered, eventually establishing herself in the industry. She witnessed first hand the disparities where colleagues from privileged backgrounds had an advantage. Yet, her time in London was not only about career growth but also about broadening her horizons while staying true to her roots.
