Jim Ellis and Elias Acosta welcome Michael Bean as a guest to the Industry Insights podcast, an experienced camera operator who has worked for Freemantle Media on shows like American Idol and America's Got Talent.

Michael talks about how he started in the industry with zero camera experience, unsure of what he wanted to do with his career. He started as a PA, slowly getting more opportunities and advancing his career. 

Eventually, he worked towards becoming a Camera Operator for Indigo Films, traveling across the US, working on a documentary series, expanding his skillset, and learning from those around him. This led to opportunities to work on shows such as America's Got Talent and American Idol, where he serves as Camera Operator and Producer to this day.
