Oral History: Donald Ray Hill
Donald Ray Hill became the first player in the history of Independence, KS Little League Baseball to hit an over-the-fence home run when he smashed a three-run blast on July 12, 1954, at Clark James Field. Don was honored in 2019, at the Independence Historical Museum and Arts Center, joining their Baseball Hall of Fame.
