Professor Wanjiku Mathenge is a professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Rwanda, the director of training and research and the current medical advisor for Orbis International in Africa. In this episode, she talks to Ines Ongenda about her career and passion for ophthalmology, her work with Orbis, her organisation the Association of Woman Ophthalmologist and what she hopes for the next generation of African ophthalmologists.
