Out of Your Head and Into Your Breath with Jenn Mansell

Are you curious about breathwork? If you feel overwhelmed or have a highly stressed nervous system, or if you want to deepen your healing and get out of your head and into your body, this is an incredible tool for you. Jenn Mansell is a certified breathwork facilitator. Breathwork is an accessible tool where simply using the breath in a facilitated way, we can learn to connect deeply with ourselves and move pain through us.

In this episode, Kailea and Jenn discuss:

  • What is breathwork? Who is it for? How can it help?
  • What does Jenn’s daily personal practice look like (breathwork for getting more energy, going to bed, etc.)
  • How breathwork is a tool to help us respond in difficult moments – it is an internal resource we can learn to count on and create comfort and safety inside ourselves
  • Kailea and Jenn respond to a question submitted from an anonymous PEI high school student: “Why am I always jealous of everyone?”
  • How jealousy/envy can help us and why naming our insecure feelings (or shadow parts) makes us feel sturdier in ourselves and more deeply connect with others
