• Grandfather was a pioneering Soul DJ between 70s-90s, rubbing shoulders with elites, including Royalty and iconic Entertainers
• Developed a love for Music in secondary school, MC’ing in corridors and intrigued by peers with DJ decks
• Inspirations ranging from Redman to Shabba Ranx to Skibbadee to Shy FX to Funk Flex
• Immersed in a multitude of genres - Reggae/Dancehall, Jungle, Drum’nBass, Garage, Grime, US & UK Hip-Hop
• Started in a 6 person crew named ’Shotta Krew’, hence the abbreviation that lived on, SK!
• Worked at the BBC with Tim Westwood’s production company which he fled following a major car incident
• Various (pirate) radio stints - Heat FM, Mystic Radio, Deja Vu, Pyro, Rinse FM
• Amassed a photo album to envy!
• Was part of a Mixtape movement that shaped UK underground music culture with names like Meridien Bloodline (Skepta) and Sincere (Fredo, Stay Flee Get Lizzy)
• Spent 10 years as the host of the Urban World Podcast
• The consistency in his work output defining a true creative vs. fake influence
• Interesting interactions with Eminem, Wu-Tang, Quavo (Migos) and Guru (Gang Starr)
• The emancipation of his character starting during The Chronicles DVD era of 2004, recording 60 hours of interviews
