From gracing the screens of 3-million UK households a week in her biggest acting role to date, to “not having a bloody clue what’s coming next!” Actress, Screenwriter, and Actor's Coach, Adele James, shares an honest and unscripted, journal-like record of her journey toward becoming - and remaining - a “working” Actor. Speaking from a level of success that would be best described as “aspirational, but very much attainable”, adventure with Adele and her journal as she continues to pave her way - letting you in on all the thoughts, fears, plot twists and lessons that you won’t get (nor might you ever suspect...) looking at most people’s social media feeds. In The Room with Adele James (formerly Making My Way), is an in-real-time memoir of surviving and succeeding as an actor day-to-day in the ever-increasingly competitive (especially for a brown woman), entertainment industry. In equal parts an entertaining and inspiring listen for the actor and non-actor, alike. In The Room with Adele James is proudly sponsored by London Nootropics. 16: Daniel Jacob AKA Vinegar Strokes - Touring Like A Boss & Being A Multi-Talented Creative
This week I sat down with my current co-star of The Importance of Being Earnest and the incredibly multi-talented, Mr Daniel Jacob (he/him), to catch up about how our tour has been going for him so far and more...

Daniel Jacob is an Actor and Cabaret Performer who graduated from the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts (LIPA)

Some of Daniel’s credits include The Importance of Being Ernest, Death Drop, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Aladdin & Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Daniel has also gained international recognition as his Drag Queen alter ego Vinegar Strokes. Vinegar became a household name when she strutted her heels into the werkroom of the first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. After the National and International success of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Vinegar Strokes has toured and performed across the UK, Ireland, Europe and America, starred in an Opera in Copenhagen for World Pride, appeared on numerous podcasts and radio shows, including Radio 1 and Gaydio, presented multiple Drag Race associated web series’ and also gained several TV credits including Eastenders, Dinner With My Ex and Drag Karaoke Club.

Vinegar is also the lead singer of music act, Vinegar Strokes & The Morning Afters, a 6-piece Funk/Synth/Pop band performing live shows across the UK.

Vinegar Strokes & The Morning Afters music can be found on Spotify & iTunes.

This episode is packed with lots of laughs, lots of sound wisdom, and a bit of innuendo - safe to say, this one has something for everyone! I hope you enjoy listening to this one as much as we enjoyed recording it.
