This second episode was recorded during our *In the loop* residency kick-off and features our resident Noam Youngrak Son - communication designer practicing queer publishing.
In their work, Son explores revolutionary methods of disseminating deviant narratives. They attempt to convey the voices of marginalized bodies into designed forms that do not conform to the cis-hetero-normative and colonial power structure.
Their work for the residency is named Unionizing the speculative: Speculative fundraising towards generative AI - creative worker unionization and is an urgent response to these urgent following questions: How can creative workers unionize with generative AI? How can we as creative workers be accountable to AI-led automation?
*In the loop* residency is a project that's part of the residency program thehost.is by Deichtorhallen Hamburg and Kampnagel International Center for Finer Arts, in collaboration with ifa - Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen.
