Amar Singh is the founder and president of 'Turbans4Australia', a Sikh charity organization providing critical support for the most vulnerable members of Australian society. He is also the recipient of the 2023 Australian Of The Year 'Local Hero' Award. He joins us In The Gap to discuss the importance of accepting yourself and your heritage fully in order to be content, the racial profiling that fueled his passion for social charity work, and the need for younger people to volunteer their efforts.
