Vito Tisdale, or as he’s famously known, "Big V" or "Vito Banga," once rocked the mic as the frontman of the chart-topping hip-hop crew Nappy Roots! They burst onto the scene in 2002 with their debut album "Watermelon, Chicken & Gritz," which snagged a couple of Grammy nods.
Their next album, "Wooden Leather," went gold and was stuffed with catchy hits and big-name producers. After delivering bangers like "Po Folks," Vito took a break in 2012 to embrace fatherhood and became the voice for the Light of Chance program, helping at-risk youth. But wait, there’s more! He’s back in the music game as a solo artist, dropping singles that tackle today’s hot topics and even dabbing into acting with roles in various films.
Big V is also brewing up a spicy solo project with some incredible R&B and country rap artists joining the fun!
