Every speaker has a story to tell and something to share: How they got started, why they chose the specific niche and lessons they've learned along the way. Join me, Tsitsi Mutendi as I interview professional members about their personal journey in the professional speaking world, and how PSASA played a part in their career growth. In My Own Words with Nicky Abdinor: If you got the drive, the destination is up to you

Two Nick Vujicic quotes come to mind when I think of Nicky: “Life isn't about having, it's about being,” and “I never met a bitter person who was thankful or a thankful person who was bitter.”

Nicky Abdinor was born without arms and shortened legs, but that did not stop her from becoming an Inspirational Speaker and Clinical Psychologist. Nicky is also a professional member of PSASA.

Her registered non-profit organisation, Nicky's Drive, aims to fund car adaptations for people with disabilities in South Africa.

Nicky credits her parents with instilling in her a mindset of not “Can I do this?” but “How can I do this?”
