When Marc Maron announced that WTF was coming to an end, it felt like a friend was leaving town. For almost two decades, Marc and his producer Brendan McDonald built a place where artists, comedians, and creators could be honest about who they were. It was raw, funny, emotional, and deeply human.
In this episode, filmmaker and host Mike Pecci looks back at how WTF inspired him to start In Love with the Process nearly seven years ago. He talks about how Marc’s willingness to share his flaws and emotions shaped the way he approaches his own show, and how a conversation with Brendan McDonald early on helped guide him toward finding his voice behind the mic.
This is not a goodbye, it is a thank you.
A celebration of the impact Marc and Brendan had on so many of us, and a reflection on what happens next for those who still crave that kind of honesty in the creative world.
If WTF ever made you laugh, cry, or feel seen, this episode is for you.
