Today, regardless of what you are facing, whether such be water, desert, fire – or a combination thereof – our Lord is hard at work, bringing about your victory over the situation. Trust in Him. Lean on Him. He is your Comforter, Counsellor and Deliverer.
If you know, deep within, that you have heard the voice of God, do not allow outward circumstances to discourage or disturb. The gold is buried beneath the surface, your job is to keep on digging! You are a heavenly miner, a divine digger.
Rise up and speak to that storm. Confess the word of God. By all means run to Him, but run as a fighter, not a victim. Let Him be your comforter and encourager, but you be His mighty soldier, enforcing the victory He died to give you on the cross of Calvary.
Dear friend, be encouraged today. The Lord is working with you, He is on your side. Do not give up, do not step from the path He has instructed you to follow. Continue moving forward, giving your best. Believe, obey, persist, proceed. All the rest, is up to Him!
As a fire would be relentless in its task of consuming, so we must be relentless in being the hands and feet of Jesus in a dying world. The Holy Spirit Himself will drive us onwards. He supplies the zeal and the power. We only need to cooperate with Him!
When we pray for the sick and downtrodden, the Holy Spirit is right by our side, flooding through our hands with healing power. Indeed, we bear witness together with Him, man and God working hand in hand setting the captives free!
While our God can use many a vehicle to bring about His rescue plan, we must always remember that He is the source of our rescue, not the tool. Salvation – both great and small – belongs to Him, and to Him alone!
What must be understood is that first and foremost, before any of His other roles or functions, God is Saviour! If you give Him an opportunity to rescue – by calling on the name of Jesus and asking Him to save you from your sins – He will do just that, no questions asked!
Do you need rescuing? Do you need a Saviour today? Call on the name of Jesus, ask Him to forgive you and He will. This is His heart – never forget that!
We are all little bushes, rife with imperfections and failings. However, God wants to use every one of us to manifest His glory. Today, surrender your life to Him. Submit your will to His. Ask Him to fill you with the fire of His Holy Spirit. Then, get going for Jesus, and you will see miracles through your life!
The Great Commission is a call to action. It is a call to do something, not a call to sitting passively by while multitudes live and die without Christ. And so, what are you waiting for? Today, be a witness for Jesus. Today, spread the glorious good news of salvation!
The Holy Spirit is a gentleman. Although He is eager to move through you to save and restore, He requires your voluntary cooperation. He will only move if you move. This is the bottom-line.
Today, be a fool for Christ. Risk all. Step beyond your comfort zone. He only needs a few heartfelt words, or a simple prayer, to drive back the darkness with His glorious light.
Dear friend, continue to pray for the salvation of loved ones and strangers alike. Continue to witness and share about Jesus. Yes indeed, prayer and evangelism are the bow and arrow of salvation!
