From the moment we looked into our daughters' gorgeous eyes, we knew we would never be the same. Every day we see our own struggles and joy reflected back as we strive to meet their needs but not abandon our own. We are mommas on a mission to help our creative girls THRIVE. I am Lynne Niehaus, an Interior Designer, artist, momma, biologist, and space coach. I host this podcast for women who want to reconnect with their own magic, conquer the chaos, and support their daughters through the beautiful, but often choppy, waters of raising confident girls who can trust their own spark.

Episode 95: Seasonal Decorating to Support You: Physically, Emotionally, and Spiritually

How do we transform our homes into the Fall Festiveland that our hearts are calling out for, but still support our bodies?

In this episode, we will look at 4 different areas to target your seasonal preparations. Plus, you will discover tips to shield yourself and your children from unnecessary anxiety, seasonal allergies and back-to-school germs.

The fall colors that are typically autumnal (red, oranges, yellows, and browns) also relate to the areas of our bodies that need the most support in this time of transition to keep us happy and healthy.

We know the joy of bringing those colors into our homes..

Bringing the same effects as those colors have, in other means (smell, sound) you can create those same feelings of homeyness and comfort.

Did you know that as we search to try and recreate those feelings, a lot of the traditional decorating techniques can actually exacerbate those unwanted sicknesses, weakened immune systems, and allergic responses?

You will learn:

  • Tips for shielding yourself and your children from seasonal allergies and back-to-school germs.

  • The influence of fall colors on your emotions and grounding effects.

  • The impact of artificial fragrances on your immune system and emotional well-being.

  • The benefits of essential oils in creating seasonal aromas and supporting your body.

  • Why you should choose natural fiber design accessories.

  • Ways to incorporate color into your home without additional expenses for a fresh energy boost.

There's SO many easy ways that you can just add a splash of color, you don't have to go out and buy something new.

You will discover creative ways to add colors that support your body, support your children's health, without spending more money while getting that fresh energy into your home and preparing for this change of seasons.
